Qualified Applicant Requirements

Be at least 19 years old and have completed the 8th grade
Have a Sunnyvale Public Library card in good standing
Sunnyvale Public Library must be your nearest library that offers the COHS program
Be willing to spend 10 hours a week on coursework to complete all 36 semesters
Are able to read, write and speak in English
Have computer and internet skills

How to Get Started

Step 1: Take the Are You Ready? survey.

Step 2: Once you complete the survey you’ll be invited to enroll in a prerequisite course. You’ll have two weeks to complete this.

Step 3: After you complete the required prerequisite course, we will contact you for an interview.
